ICED CHAI MATCHA LATTE

IF you know all of that fun stuff already and are looking for a matcha upgrade, then stay put, we’ve got a glorious recipe coming your way. Its SUPER easy to make, EVEN if you find yourself stumbling around your kitchen half asleep first thing, searching for a clean mug, let alone your matcha whisk.
1 cup/ 1 mug’s worth of almond milk
½ scoop of Garden of Life’s Chai Protein OR a dash of chai spice mix
½ teaspoon of matcha green tea powder (we LOVE Jenki)
OPTIONAL: Your go-to adaptogen dust
Fill your glass or mug with ice cubes and, in a separate small bowl, whilst together your chai protein powder OR spice mix and almond milk until smooth. At this point, if you want to add in any adaptogens of medicinal mushrooms, go right ahead.
Pour it over the ice and into your glass. Using the same small bowl, add your matcha and a touch of warm water, whisking well until frothy. Then, pour that over the ice and into the glass too.
If you are just using a chai spice mix, you may want to sweeten with a touch of maple syrup, monk fruit or natural stevia.
